How the company got here

Savant Solutions did not start as an electrical contractor. It started in low-voltage — structured cabling, fiber and network infrastructure — and grew into an unlimited electrical license from there. Our owner held prior ownership in IT services and federal contracting before qualifying as an electrical contractor.

That order matters, and it is the thing that separates us from most electrical subcontractors. When we say we self-perform Division 27, it is not a line on a capability list; it is the trade the company was built on. Power came second, and now both run on the same subcontract, the same schedule and the same foreman.

Savant Solutions, or Savant Electrical?

Both. Savant Solutions Inc. is the registered company name and the one on our license, insurance certificates and contracts. The logo on our trucks, our building and our shirts reads Savant Electrical, so that is the name a lot of people know us by and the one they search for. They are the same company — if you were given one name and found the other, you are in the right place.

Today we hold a North Carolina Unlimited Electrical License — no cap on project value — and work for general contractors, property managers and facility directors across the Sandhills, with residential service running through the same licensed crews. We also teach the electrical course at the Habitat for Humanity Construction Camp each summer. running through the same licensed crews.
